Strider - Geolocation Based Mobile app
STRIDER is a geolocated narrative based mobile phone application, that is situated around 10 different locations within a 25km radius. Creating an app based in the botanical gardens of Melbourne, to encourage people to go on walks to become active. The app will follow with checkpoints throughout a circuit with different badges marking achievements when reaching a certain point.

This concept follows the metaphor of a treasure hunt, encouraging the user to hop from place to place to find special stickers and items digitally! The app will need to include a camera based intel that will be appropriate for use, this aspect cannot be relied on for data. The use of the camera will most likely be a diary function, relying mostly on the Geolocation tool for finding the locations.
